In order to ensure an increasingly effective response to the growing health emergency of children, Associazione KIM believes it is of paramount importance to undertake action to directly cooperate in their countries of origin.

To this end, KIM is also active on site to
– collaborate with local institutions to guarantee a quick response and wider coverage
– provide technical support and training for health care and assistance
– contribute to the strengthening of the technical and professional skills of local doctors
– participate in any prevention and/or vaccination campaigns.

A project with the Ivory Coast.

Since March 2015, with the signing of a five-year Cooperation Protocol with the Ivorian Ministry of Solidarity, Family, Women and Children, the Association has launched a specific five-year cooperation project with the Côte d’Ivoire.
The objective is to treat the largest possible number of children in local healthcare facilities and to support the development of the country in terms of health. The Project provides that, at the request of the signatory Ministry, volunteer specialist doctors who collaborate with KIM go to Ivory Coast in order to contribute to the training of local personnel and to collaborate in treating deprived children with targeted surgical interventions.
